A late autumn walk in the sun

Blue skies over Glasgow today so I took the X-Pro 1 for a walk.

Like most weekend walks it started with a stroll through the Barras and shooting some of the curios found there. Who wants an old ‘I’ve been to Sellafield badge?’

Haven’t made a portrait of psychadelic Frankie for a few years so I did that today. I’m sure you can guess which one he is. Frankie is in the Barras most weekends – if you’re ever in town go talk to him and ask where we came from – the man sure can tell a tale or two.

After a wee chat with Frankie some joker saved me from taking a very boring photo of Scottish faff whilst muttering something about permission.

From the Barras I passed through the Xmas market and up Buchanan St. There is usually some action or protest to be had there and today was no different. Scottish Iranians were calling for regime change in Iran. Good luck to them.

Finished off with a couple grab shots of some quality grafitti (I cropped out ‘cum guzzler’ seeing how it was the Sabbath). Then it was home for some handmade bhajis, a Donnie Darko rewatch and a mini nap about halfway through the film.

Good day indeed.
